Directions to Fields
FUHRMAN PARK
Directions to Fuhrman Park (Lights field, FireCo and Backfield) in Maytown:
Take Rt. 743 south through E-town, continue to square in Maytown. Turn left
(go around traffic circle) onto E. High Street. Two blocks to Maytown Fire Co.
on the left. Park in the Fire Co. lot and walk to the fields.
LEGION FIELD
Directions to the Maytown Legion field: Take 743S to Maytown square. Turn
right onto W. High St. One block. Right onto King St. One block. Legion is on
the left.
Directions from Rt. 441. One half mile south of Rowenna, take left on Vinegar
Ferry Rd which turns into W. High St. in Maytown.
GOVERNOR'S STABLE
Directions to the Governor's Stable field: From the square in Elizabethtown
turn west onto West High St. (this is also Rt. 241S) After you pass under the
railroad bridge, Rt. 241 turns left onto Masonic Dr. Instead of turning left
you want to make a slight right turn onto Turnpike Rd. Follow Turnpike Rd for
about 4 miles. Turn left onto Governor's Stable Rd. Go 1/4 mile and the field is on the left.
Using Rt. 441 (River Rd.), travel
north from Bainbridge or south from Middletown until you reach the village of
Falmouth. Turn east onto Turnpike Rd. Go about 1 mile. Turn right onto
Governor's Stable Rd. Field is 1/4 mile on the left.
MELHORN FIELD (Mount Joy Library)
Directions to the Melhorn (also known as R&J) field, beside the Mount Joy
library: Take Rt. 230 into Mt. Joy. Turn west onto Rt. 772, Marietta Ave. Go
about 10 blocks and find the Milanof-Schock Mt. Joy library on the right. The
Melhorn field is next to the library.
From Marietta or Maytown, use Rt.
772 East toward Mt. Joy. About a mile past Donegal High School, you will see
the field on your left. If you reach the Milanof-Schock library (on the left),
you went 100 yards too far.
CONOY CREEK FIELD
Directions to ConoyCreek field: From the square in E-town take Rt. 241 South
(Bainbridge Rd) to Rt. 441 near Bainbridge. Turn left. Go about 1 mile. The
field is on the left just before the bridge over Conoy Creek.
Using Rt 441 go north or south as needed to get to Bainbridge. The field is on
the east side of the road right beside the bridge crossing Conoy Creek.
ARMSTRONG FIELDS
The entrance to the Armstrong site is along Rt. 441 (River Road), just north
of Marietta. From the intersection of Rts. 441 and 743 in Marietta, travel
north on Rt. 441 exactly 9/10 mile. The plant entrance will be on the left.
The sign out at the road says Armstrong Marietta Ceiling Tile Plant. Enter the
plant driveway and follow the signs for DACSL Fields and Parking.
From the north, follow Rt. 441S. Go
about 3/4 mile past the village of Rowenna and find the plant entrance on the
right.
From Maytown, follow Rt. 743S to Rt.
441 and turn right (north).
