Our annual slow-pitch softball tournament is open to all local church league teams.
⚠ Special Rules Regarding Tournament Games
Tournament Format
Round-robin pool play (morning to early-afternoon):
- Teams are grouped into pools.
- Teams are guaranteed at least 3 pool play games.
- At the end of pool play, teams are ranked based on W-L record.
- Rankings determine seeding for bracket play.
Single-elimination bracket play (mid-afternoon to early-evening):
- First round: Third and fourth place teams from different pools play each other.
- Second round: Second place teams from different pools play the first round winners.
- Third round: First place teams from different pools play the second round winners.
Umpiring for Tournament Games
- The league provides one home plate umpire for all games.
- Teams must provide volunteer base umpires for all pool play games and the first two rounds of bracket play.
- The league provides an additional umpire for the bases from the third round through the end of the tournament.
